Old Houses

There's something about an abandoned old house, overgrown with vines, that makes me want to explore and makes my imagination soar. If I was still 12 years old, I would be so tempted to break into this house to check it out, as I did so many others in my youth with my cousin. Danny, where are you?

  1. I love old houses. You know the ones we call "grandma houses"? Those eighteen inch baseboards and the huge central fans? I would love to get one of those. My house was built in 1971. The stove and double ovens are original to the house. Yes, they are almond. Thank the Lord they're not avacado green!

  2. I love old houses too! But when I see them, I want to fix them up! I see the potential and I want to scrape off the peeling paint, paint the front door a glossy red, plant flowers, and pretend it's 100 years ago. There is always a horse and buggy parked out front waiting to take me to town!
